Centre Commun de Calcul Intensif

    History and Objective

Since the year 2000, several research labs at the UAG located in Guadeloupe, six of which belonged to the Faculty of Science, have decided to muster their intellectual and financial means within a common High-Performance Computing center (C3I) whose primary aim is to support HPC research. A scientific comitee manages C3I whose main goal is to lay out the scientific and organization policy of the center. This structure has been approved by the MENRT (Minister of Training, Research and Technology) as a multitraining project (Plan Pluriformations) for the new four years contract since 2002. Seminars and training sessions have been implemented in order to promote researchs at the UAG requiring HPC.
